May 26, 2006 Former state
Rep. Peggy Lamm (D) has turned her primary with former state Sen. Ed
Perlmutter (D) into a real race. Meanwhile, Republican Rick
O'Donnell sits on the sidelines and collects cash -- $686,000 on
hand at the end of March. Still, this suburban Denver seat is moving
away from Republicans demographically, and 2006 is shaping up to be
another good year for Colorado Democrats.
